...so, I'm sure this is one of the newbie threads that everyone will roll their eyes and sort of make an 'uh' sound at, and I apologise in advance.

But. I've applied for a license, had it approved, and would love to sign up for some races on RACE 07 if only I had sufficient privileges to post in the relevant forum.

Did I miss a step somewhere? Was there something else I need to do, or is it dependent on post count, or...?

Perhaps you were trying before your status was changed. You're a licensed member now, and you should be fine posting and signing up.
