AC: Update Speculation

Hey ! Can't see this thread anymore so... What do you guys think the new build will bring up to the table?

Because these days its photos and future content, but I'd myself rather enjoy a 1.0 release ! With proper collisions etc... Anyone got news?

I get the (*upgrade) but what does "S" mean? Might it be like GT1,2,3?

S can be part of the car model name, like evora s. S1,2,3 is the upgraded car, just like manufacturers offer a basic version of the car, then other versions with higher performance upgrades, which are also more expensive than the basic version.

But isn't the S before a number Audi's designation? I get the logic, but it's not standard by any automotive terms so it sure has me wondering...

In game the S stands for "step" it isnt anything specific to one car or another. Just denotes an upgrade level.

In the case of the S being used as a designation for an upgraded version of the car, it stands for 'Step'. So Step 1, Step 2, etc... It's just an arbitrary modifier Kunos picked.

The use of "S" or "Step" in AC to denote performance package upgrades is like that of some aftermarket suppliers or outfitters referring to packages as being "Stages", as in "Stage 1" upgrade. I think some may also use the term "Phase" in place of "Step" or "Stage". I know, TMI . . .
