Could the Porsche 911 RSR 2017 race at the Nürburgring 24 hrs or that a different class of GT cars ?

The GTD Cars could race there

The GTD class is a GT3 class and iiac should be allowed to drive at the Nürburgring. BUT. As a driver you need to have a licence to race at the Nürburgring. I don't know if all drivers in the IMSA GTD class are eligible to race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

I was really looking forward to the Imsa start. I cant find a stream that broadcasts the complete 24 hours and due to my intense search i already read about the results. Disappointed deluxe
