Theres still 80% chance of rain tomorrow although it will die out into the evening so it could possibly go back to tuesday although this is doubtful at the moment. Also have to remember Pheonix race is next weekend in California! so a massive logistical task after daytona.

They will have to leave their huge trailers and trucks behind and bumpdraft with all the race cars on the motorway to sunny california then in order to make it

Well, not quite California, but almost (I grew up in Arizona, and having California next door was both blessing and curse). The smaller teams (without a second hauler) will be hurt the most, but no-one will be running the same car(s) at Phoenix that they are running in Daytona, so the haulers (assuming they have a second hauler) can leave the shops (mostly around Charlotte, NC) on time. It will take 2 full days at 13 hours each to drive the motorhomes - there you may see some pack racing and bump drafting.
