The central ALMS 2010 thread for all your news, rumors, and race reports
I think they got rid of the gt1 class but on a good side there's more competition in gt2
GT1 is pretty much obsulete in the USA these days, what with the new FIA GT1 rules etc.. they have also merged the two Prototype classes together for 2010, Highcroft racing have switched back to the ARX-01 LMP2 car from the ARX-02 LMP1 they ran this year, they are running what has been called the ARX-01''c'', will be interesting to see what modifications they did to the ARX-01b.
ALMS season opener is finally here next weekend!

It is great to get endurance season started and see these beasts racing again. I hope Priaulx will do well in #90 BMW M3
Now there is only one question. Can I watch it? Speed tv and Motors tv are broadcasting so you are lucky who have those channels at home but my only hope is to find a good stream from the internet. Let's hope I can find one. Will edit it here if/when I find one.
Hopefully working links will appear here as it says.
http://stream.speedtv.com/ This should show qualifying and race during the time when tv channel shows nascar. Hopefully it works outside USA because it seems speed tv has already limited videos on its web page that only US people can watch them.
most likely some will stream it on justin.tv (if it is shown on speed)
If speed tv is bringing it live i am sure MotorsTV will also Cool weekend coming up
Qualifying time now.
Preview starts now at MotorsTV
Excellent, just set my sky+ up to record it all for when I cant watch it live.
Was so great to hear the sound of gt cars again after a winter break. LMPC cars sound bit weird because they all have corvette engine but on the other hand all cars seems to be very close to eachother.
Whole race live tomorrow ALMS weekend
Omg..happened again. Got a Sauna/beer invite from a friend for tomorrow night. Why they always do that when there's something cool racing.
Hopefully mobile phone and tv in cable will sort that out and I can set a studio there.
How about you decline the invite, install yourself on the sofa with the same beer, and watch the entire race
My Days Sorted.
The guys at www.radiolemans.com are already up to speed!
Gene takes Sebring pole for Peugeot
Peugeot took its anticipated front row sweep in qualifying for the Sebring 12 Hours, with Marc Gene beating team-mate Nicolas Minassian to the top spot.
The diesel-powered LMP1 squad has dominated the event from the start of unofficial testing this week, and only needed one run in qualifying to secure the top two positions, with 0.3 seconds separating its drivers.
