Rumour , rumour ,rumour.

Rykard Rydell who has won the 2th race at anderstorp and by doing that putting teamorders beside him.

A unhappy Nicola Larini

Nicola Larini whas to win that race in order by the chevrolet team director.
The team told Rydell that he should let Larini pass him in order to keep the championship asperations alive.
Rydell ignored that order and by doing that he made sure that his driving with chevrolet is kept to this one time.

Second racewinner Rykard Rydell

Rydell doesn`t think to mutch of that and can afford the move he made......
Because the rumour has spread that he will be driving in the WTCC in 2008 in a..........MAZDA.
This rumour has spread cause Rydell and Dave "Pro drive" Richards have deep connections with Mazda.
It seems that Mazda wants to use Dave Richards as an entrance to get in the WTCC.
Rydell knows the People and mechanics from Prodrive cause he has driven for Prodrive in the last 24 hours of Le Mans in the Aston Martin.

I think it was plain stupid from Rydell to overtake his teammates...
Larini and Menu both lose 2 points that could be important in the close championship final. Is he sure what they hired him for?

In an intervue in swedish press with Rydell he was asked about passing both Menu and Larini and he stated that in race 1 he let Menu pass to get 8'th place and therefore pole for race 2, while in race 2 Rydell had get clearance from the team manager to race for victory.

If Rydell was up for a contract for the team in 2008 I think he would have done it differently. Now he really wanted to show his potential for all the teams.

Well it would have been better for the championship tha Larini won teh 2nd race... But also Rydell has now opened the eyes of many teams that he still CAN drive a car

But guys, look at the last part of Wido's post... Next year, Rydell in a MAZDA???
Would like to see a new brand enter the WTCC, it can only make the sport better

What do you expect from this race. The tracks first corner should have changed dramaticly. Maybe Henrik Stoldt can write some info on it because he is the real life oschersleben specialist.
