The Goodwood Members Meeting is one of the highlights of the British motorsport calendar. A Mecca for vintage racing fans, the Members Meeting is very well represented within Assetto Corsa, too!

All mods listed in the article will be available for free here on OverTake.gg. However, there will be a section at the end of each series mentioning extra mods available that are not currently on OverTake.gg that could bolster your Members Meeting experience. This guide covers mods for Assetto Corsa as well as GTR2.

Goodwood Members Meeting Track Mod

The track that we recommend using is the Lidar scanned version from mod creator @mantasisg. The track was released back in 2017 and is by far the most detailed version of Goodwood. The undulations and bumps are accurate to the real track - check out the author's comparison video below to see just how similar they are.

The track has multiple vintage skins available if you are looking to recreate a period-correct race, but the default skin for the track is perfect for a member's meeting recreation event.

Ken Miles Cup

The Ken Miles Cup is a tribute race to the Le Mans legend and engineering genius Ken Miles. The race consists of classic Ford Mustang Notchbacks. 2024 saw the celebration of sixty years of the Ford Mustang. Among the drivers onboard this year were Timo Bernhard, Andrew Jordan, Gordon Shedden, Rob Huff, Tom Kristensen and Dario Franchitti.

The race is 45 minutes long and two different drivers pilot each car. The Ken Miles Cup is always one of the highlights of the Members Meeting each year. You can feel the floor shake when the V8's roar to life and Assetto Corsa is the perfect sandbox to recreate this experience within.

The mod can be found here. There are external mods available for different eras of Notchback Mustangs. If you want to faithfully recreate the Ken Miles Cup, these mods can be a great way to do so.

Gordon Spice Trophy

The Gordon Spice Trophy is designed for Group 1 Touring cars from 1972 to 1980. The trophy is also a celebration of Gordon Spice's career and most importantly, his life. Spice was best known for winning the top class of the BTCC for six consecutive seasons from 1975-80, and earning four world sportscar championship titles in the Group C2 category in 1985-88.

The cars used in the race range from classic Mini Coopers, Camaros, Capris, SD1s, BOSS Mustangs and Ford Escorts. The mod list can be greatly bolstered by the touring car legends pack, however, the Camaro and the Boss Mustang are available right here on OverTake.gg.

Peter Collins Trophy

The Peter Collins Trophy features stunning sportscars that raced across the globe and at the Le Mans 24 Hours back in the 1950s. The cars included in the race are the Jaguar D- and C-Types, Maserati 300S, Tipo 61 and 250S, Porsche 356a and Porsche 550a as well as some Austin Healeys and a Nardi Bisiluro.

This era of sportscar racing is richly supported here on OverTake.gg. Both the Porsche 356a and 550a are available for free within Assetto Corsa as well as Bisiluro, Jaguar D-Type and the Maserati Tipo 61.

Grover-Williams Trophy

For their intense battles, the racing at Goodwood is most often associated with the more visually stunning GTs and Touring Cars of the 1960s. Certainly, most YouTube highlight videos will feature the likes of the Ferrari 250 Breadvan or Lotus Cortinas.

But one of the series that perhaps best renders the Goodwood Members’ Meeting unique is the Grover-Williams Trophy. Welcoming a collection of Grand Prix cars from the 1920s, there are few other events at which these models race with such tenacity.

In this year’s running of the race, the grid was certainly overloaded with Bugatti Type 35 racers, though the 24-strong entry list also featured cars from Aston Martin, Frazer Nash and Delage.

Rarely a period with much exposure in sim racing, here at OverTake we are lucky enough to find the creations of @Nicecuppatea.

An enthusiast of yesteryear, this mod creator brings us no less than five models that could run in the Grover-Williams Trophy. The Bugatti Type 32 may not quite be the infamous 35 that runs at Goodwood, but it certainly plays the part. Meanwhile, the likes of the Fiat 805, Rolland Pilain A22 and Sunbeam GP are all iconic racers from the era.

If that was not enough, Nicecuppatea’s early Delage for the 1923 season gets a sibling in the form of a 1927 15S8 by OT creator, @Fourty-Too!

Graham Hill Trophy in Assetto Corsa

Amassing some of the most immense sportscars from the 1960s, the Graham Hill Trophy is always a highlight at Goodwood’s annual Members’ Meeting. In addition, a similar field runs at the Revival event under the RAC Tourist Trophy Celebration name.

Stunning European beauties from Jaguar E-Types and Porsche 904s go up against brutes like the ever-popular AC Cobra – with Shelby power of course. This is where the big money also sits with pricey Ferraris and gorgeous Alfa Romeos taking to the track.

Outside of Assetto Corsa, there are a plethora of fantastic mods recreating this era of racing, notably the GTL-GTR2 and Power & Glory mods for GTR2.

But sticking with the more current massively moddable racer. A seemingly infinite number of liveries accurate to previous Goodwood events are available for the many 1960s GT car mods available. OverTake user @Spudknuckles is one livery creator who frequently goes back in time to previous Revival events to recreate some of the most iconic looks. From last year’s Revival winner to a bare-metal Bizzarrini from a decade ago.

Aside from the countless designs available for models, there are some unique cars unavailable in other packs to be downloaded from OT. Of @Historic Sim Studios LLC design is the 1968 Daihatsu P-5, a race-winning prototype with an ear-ringing engine. Not only is the mod brilliant fun to drive, the description is also worth a read.

Another mod with fantastic detail is the Porsche 912R by Stereo whilst back in 2018, BrianB gave us the mouth-watering Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ. If you fancy getting crazy with your 1960’s sportscars, give this Tatra 603-2 B5 Marathon a go which may not be fast in the turns. But it will fly down Goodwood’s meandering straights.

Finally, if the pride of Britain is your goal up against the American V8s, this TVR Griffith may just serve you well. The mod by OverTake.gg user, pctm_00 may not have seen any updates since 2019, but the British brute does still appear to drive well in the most recent version of Assetto Corsa.

Which racing class do you want to recreate? Let us know over on X @OverTake_gg or down in the comments below.

One of the things that I hope GTRevival (or another sim) will do is allow the player to assemble a race weekend as they have at Goodwood whereby the we can select multiple cars for multiple events and practice, qualify and then race consecutive races over the course of the weekend without having to exit the track and run off to the main menu to select, even to the point of practice one car class of car, then get called for the first race of another class, then another qualifying for yet another class, hopping from vehicle to vehicle, adapting as you go.
That taken to an extreme for multiplayer would be awesome, and to be honest I can't see any reason why it couldn't be included.
As it happens I have some great solo versus A! at Goodwood in GTL-GTR2, the AI in AC just isn't smart enough (or I don't understand it enough) to have good races against.

So then Connor, are you gonna set a server for us to have a few classic races, I'll sign up!

Nice article always makes one happy when talking about cars and tracks from different eras and not just GT3.
I like to try cars from the early days to the 70's, I am an average racer, but there are few online races so I usually play against the AI.
The same as many of us, I guess what we need is a casual drop in qually and race server for regular Joe's, that doesn't cater for the banzai GT3 mob... (no disrespect intended) but instead, has slower historics and hysterics that can be enjoyed and looked forward to on any given day

Recalling my memory this must be the 5th time of coincidence clash with this site (or rather RD site before, but anyway)
Just had a splendid Goodwood Revival offline weekend, both in dry- and wet track (puddles, slippery) mod designs in all kind of mixed classic car mod grids.
Just ended my last race. Then looked up at this site...and then this article.
(don't feel like being watched...or something...? :ninja::D)

One of the things I like most about AC is the ability to do this. Watch some motorsport races between 1900-2024, and load up AC and recreate the grid. This and the Goodwood hillclimb are favorites of mine. Now AC just needs a way to save the game mid race offline so I can recreate full 24h Le Mans races :D

Don't think I saw the link in the post, but this mini by pessio is a great little car to challenge the bigger cars in the corners

I may be blind but where is the "section at the end of each series mentioning extra mods available that are not currently on OverTake.gg" as mentioned in the second paragraph?

Good article on a track which brings motorsports history to life.
The reference to Mustang "notchbacks" is mistaken. A Mustang coupe does have a notchback appearance as opposed to the sleeker fastback bodystyle. All 1969-70* Boss 302 and Boss 429 Mustangs were fastback bodies which Ford called "SportsRoofs." Shelby American--which contested the 1965 and 1966 Trans Am with fastback G.T.350Rs --switched to notchback coupes for the 1967 and 1968 and raced as the Terlingua racing team. The 1969 T/A season saw Bud Moore Racing switch from Mercury Cougars to Mustangs to join Shelby American which reverted to the fastback body. For 1970, Shelby bowed out leaving Bud Moore Racing as the top factory team.

*The larger 1971 Mustang Boss 351 was also fastback only but never raced in Trans Am due to FoMoCo revising their racing budget.

Good article and the racing at members meeting was much better than most of the modern stuff we see these days that doesn't add much variety. Assetto Corsa works well in recreating grids in days gone by with lot's of mods and correct period liveries from that time. Would love to see a proper mod of the Formula three Screamers from the late 60's through to 1970 though
