Red Bull Sim Racing have gone through a few changes in the past couple of months, including partnering up with Red Bull F1 driver Max Verstappen’s sim racing outfit Team Redline. This coming after many years being managed by G2 Esports.

But one thing that has not changed is their Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup line-up. Remaining onboard are Sebastian Job and Cooper Webster, who have been representing Red Bull for the entirety of their tenures in the series.

Job: One of Sim Racing’s Greats

After finishing 3rd in the first season of PESC and winning the second, Job has been on a run of three consecutive seasons finishing as the runner-up. He has just come off the back of the R1 Fall Major where he fell short of winning the title to former PESC foe Josh Rogers.

But along with that as well as racing in F1 Esports for two years and winning two Porsche Esports Carrera Cup GB titles, he is also the Red Bull F1 simulator driver. Whenever the F1 team have finished on Friday practicing for the Grand Prix, Job is at the Milton Keynes headquarters through the night running laps and trialling different setups.

Infact last year, Job was very often making it home from his GP sim work and having to be ready for a round of PESC on Saturday evening.

Ahead of the new PESC season, Job had the following to say:

“Recent changes within the team in preparation for the 2024 season have been very helpful and I feel confident to challenge for the title once again. It’s going to be a hectic few months competing in both PESC and Porsche GB in tandem, however, I am fully tuned in and raring to go!”

Webster: On The Ladder

On the other side of the Red Bull fold is Cooper Webster. The Australian has impressed in his time competing in the series, finishing 8th in 2022 and 10th in 2023 with three podium finishes to his name. This in spite of the fact he missed a round in both seasons.

This was because he is juggling his sim racing commitments in tandem with real world motorsport. In 2023 alone, Webster had immense success where he was third in the Australian S5000 series, runner-up in GB4 and champion in Indian F4.

For this year, Webster is set to take part in the Regional F3-level series EuroCup-3, which races from April to November across eight rounds. However this time, he is confident that he will not be missing any PESC rounds. Providing the following:

“This will be my first full season in PESC – finishing top 10 in the standings for two years in a row is amazing, but I’m excited to see what can be achieved when my racing career won’t clash with the sim racing season.
I’m feeling competitive and the pace is definitely there. 2024 is going to be a good season.”
