Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged to Feature Fast & Furious Vehicles

More abilities, more environments, more vehicles - Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged promises even more miniature action than its predecessor. When the title releases on October 19th, Hollywood will also be present - the game is set to feature vehicles from the Fast & Furious movie franchise, with one of them being able on release day.

A trailer reveals the first of the cars to be the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, which races onto players' screens on launch day. The Fast & Furious content will be available for owners of the Legendary Edition of the game, but also via separate DLC.

"Building on years of collaboration"

The latest film of one of the most popular car movie franchise has been released this May as the tenth part of the series. "We're delighted to bring these two iconic racing franchises even closer together, building on years of collaboration", said Mike DeLaet, Mattel's Global Head of Digital Gaming. Vehicles from the Fast & Furious franchise are available as Hot Wheels toy cars already, making the crossover in the digital world a logical step rather than a surprising one.

"We appreciate Mattel's contribution to such a significant collaboration and we can't wait to witness the thrill and joy it will bring to gamers worldwide", said Milestone's Publishing Director Andrea Loiudice. DeLaet adds: "You'd be hard pressed to find a more natural pairing than Hot Wheels and Fast & Furious, and the team at Milestone have done an outstanding job with bringing these fan-favorite vehicles to life in authentic Hot Wheels Unleashed fashion."

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged is coming to PC (Steam/Epic Games Store), PlaysStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S and One, and Nintendo Switch this October.

I'm probably not going to get this. Just feels like making you pay for nearly the same game twice. The first title was released not even that long ago.
