Endurance with the Formula 2000 car

Guys i saw in our forums something about a abarth endurance race. I like that idea and wanna do something with it.

What are your ideas lets discuss this

Since the grids are small, maybe one of the shorter tracks? I don't care really, I just hope there will be 6+ people, and no quitters

I agree mate. basicly as i am not racing for a while i can still admin the race etc. i was thinking of a track like prato short

COOOOOOL, I'm the guilty party who mentioned the Abarth 500 enduro, it was only ment to be a passing thought not a suggestion, but I'm all for it.

Prato short sounds fine or dijon, thats a small track, I like Nurburgring but I think its a little long. I dont mind what track you decide on Bjorn, but agree a small track is better.

How many laps? or will it be a timed event, 1.5hrs.
Will we have compolsory pit stops? maybe 1 for tyres, 1 for fuel.

Hhaha andrew yeah man i saw you wrote about that endurence and yes i like the idea mate
Prato short or like Nikos says newbury 2006 are good tracks and myself like the idea of 1.5 hours racing or the same amount of laps.
I think with a race that long, you have to make a pit stop anyway.

Guys can you do me a favor can you run a few laps on both of the tracks i just mentioned.
and write down a few laptimes so that i can work something out.
My wheel is broken so i need some help

i have done 1:30 on prato short and 1:06 in newbury2006 but laptimes can be improved with practice and a better setup

Hi guys, just spent some time on Newbury06 in prep for the endurance event, after gettin to grips with the track layout I managed to do some low 56sec laps
is that a good time for the F2000 @ Newbury06???

Dont know that yet mate as i cant set any time
But in a race that long you need more then fast lap times haha

atm i was able to do a 55 and something with deffo default (just few tweaks wings and gear)!!!

btw in this types of race is more important to not do crash than be fast!!!
