Cheers mate! Much appreciated :)
This is by far my personal favorite mod pack for the visual enhancement for AC. I love how you took advantage of every effects without neglecting a feature available within the game's engine.

Also the fact that you are only using one filter is like magic. I played around that same filter you provided on different time, climate, and temperature and I have to say its doing the job really well.

Thanks for this and God speed friend!

Thanks very much! I know you can achieve better results with individual filters but i dont want to have to keep changing things every time I drive and you dont in any other game so it will always be kept this way. Still learning but think the only real thing i want to nail down is more realistic colours... Will get there, eventually!

Glad to hear your enjoying it and thanks for the review :)
Absolutely stunning mate. The screen shots do not do this mod justice. This mod is a complete upgrade to AC. I hope it works as well on the upcoming patch v1.5. Thanks for all your work.

Cheers mate, much appreciated. I'm fully aware there are issues with some weathers at certain times of day which I'm trying to address but once I've got sorted then it's just a case of perfecting the look :)
excelent... 1 question how do you manage to get the game so sharper..? is that a Sweetfx cfg ? how do i manage to get that kind of sharpness?
best regards

You dont have to use Sweetfx with my mod as ive come across quite a few people that dont and love it on its own, but I do use it myself. It can be downloaded from here; http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/official-sweetfx-bundle-for-assetto-corsa.2748/
I was quite satisfied with the "vanilla" AC graphics but finally I've tried using your mod - and I must admit it's a great improvement. Very well done.

Awesome! Love your videos, keep up the good work! Where you getting all these cool cars from? Noticed you have the Ferrari FXX. Is that a mod somewhere already as know it's coming out as its in the console version but havent heard of it's release yet?
really really good job,and i appreciate the fact that u put the videos,we can see exactly that we will have in game...dont stop to work, its great!i always use this mod NOW.in your mind,do u think its possible to create a real rain in AC?
WagnumPI
WagnumPI
Thanks for the review! Unfortunately as we only have the post processing filter, color curve and weather files to work with, we can get it to look like it's about to rain but not actually rain since we just dont have the means to add something so complex. That unfortunately would be something that would need to be implemented into the graphics engine by Kunos but very much doubt that will happen as that would require a huge amount of work on their part plus with it soon to be released on console, they would have said something if it was planned im afraid...
I am still working on this mod though so once i've solved how to correctly edit .dds files i'll be able to improve the look of the cloudy weathers I hope!
It's time to Kunos start paying you, man. You made a ugly aberration of a game - thanks to weird basic filters - look great. Both you and the guy who made Natural Graphics deserve a paycheck for the effort.

Thank you for your great work.

Money would be nice but to be honest it's given me something to do while i get over an injury plus do enjoy tinkering with the files... At least Kunos are always updating the other stuff we cant, plus look forward to seeing the updated tracks with my mod when the next release of AC comes out :)
Good idea on fixing the light for the clouds. I like this combo of weather/ppfilter, but the problem that made it 4/5 instead of 5/5 atm for me is that the clouds are almost bright white not showing the great details they have. Also the windscreen when the sun hits it (thanks to the dirt) makes it almost impossible to see through (worse at lower sun levels like morning/afternoon).

My own combo (tweaks on other peoples weather/ppfilter) are bright but with clouds showing full details and the windscreen dirt isnt blocking the view + shadows are really full/dark which is nice. So it IS possible to get it perfect. Just gotta keep on tweaking. :) I like yours more since it have more nuance overall. Its just the too bright clouds and too much dirt showing on the windscreen, and if fixed equals 5/5 superb combo.

Thank you.

Thanks for the review. The dirt thing is a little difficult to fix unfortunately but yeah I know the cloud's arent quite right. Annoyingly it takes forever to adjust them to get the detail to pop while preventing any sharp contrasts in the sky that then ruin it and take away from the realism. I will keep working at it though.
One easy fix you can try however is dropping the auto exposure target on the filter if you dont mind the overall look being a bit darker. That should get rid of some of the glare so help with the dirty windscreen plus underexpose the clouds so their detail stands out more. :)
Yoz! I have previus version installed, top notch! For newer ver. 3.2 shoud I replace only clouds folder or also everything else? Thx

Sorry, know i've been going a bit OTT on updating... The cloud files havent changed but the weather files need all replacing along with the filter as thats had some important adjustments too.
this mod is more interesting, thank you for your work.

Thank you. Know there's a few things to be improved but getting to the point now where overall im happy with it :)
At last a mod that does what it says on the tin! My AC never looked so good. Thank you

Thanks very much! Been working on an update all day which i'll finish testing tomorrow and will release so hopefully you'll like that too :)
Overall great! Though I thought the bright bits are a bit too bright. Never modded anything in my life but thought I'd tinker with this one.I lowered the max exposure and increased the min exposure. Now, I'm getting better detail in bright colors while keeping the bright overall look. The next thing I'd like to do is make the shadows a bit brighter if possible. Though I've no idea how to do that.

Ambient lighting in the weather files will certainly help if your having a go. My next thing to work on is brightness levels across all weather conditions so i'll be tinkering with what you've done along with what I suggested and will release in next update :)
Nice ! i wait to see future update i made a new video using your graphic mod !

Thanks very much! Love to see some if you can post on the support page? :)
Do i need PP enabled?
WagnumPI
WagnumPI
Yes I would certainly as i've set up the weathers to work well with the ppfilter rather than the other way round. Not sure how the weathers would work without it but doubt very well... Thanks for the review :)
Looks amazing, coupling this mod's weather and ppfilter with the Natural graphics sweetFX yields great results!

WagnumPI
Thanks! Is the SweetFX settings that come with the NWM different to the base one you can download on here separately? If so need to check out as think i'm using the latter...
Now is absolutly perfect, especially with a bit more sharpening from sweetfx :)

Aww cheers mate! I may have come across a few things that can be tweaked to give a more realistic look while keeping the flair intact but haven't had a chance to properly test it yet. Depending on how it goes I'll include in the 3.0 version but won't be doing as rapid as the last updates as starting back up at work again plus may mean a lot of extra work and testing...
Hey, Man,
My settings of digital screen - is mostly neutral. So, you set maximum exposure = 0.4 and target=1.0 - no needs in this, cause this working as well with target=0.4 for example, as your maximum. Think, sometimes overall picture a bit overbrighten, but exactly affected by minimum_exposure value. Try dicrease it (i'm set it now at 0.25) and it could be better
Whatever, it's actually best filter setup i'm tried (and more better, than mine own, based on natural_graphic_mod) Not only best, but almost perfect for Corsa. Please, take a look at what noticed there and think with version 3.0 - it will be just a "highly recommended" for all virtual drivers ;) Simply one perfect filter and no needs to change them time from time...- it's sometimes so boring..
So, Thanks a lot! and waiting new version...

Cheers mate, have just released an update where i've reverted back to a slightly darker brightness setting as your right it was too bright in some situations. When i get a chance though i'll have a play round with what your suggesting to see if things can be improved better that way. Thanks for the heads up :)
