Makes the Map look completely different and fabulous. Just all I would say is it is really humbling from an fps standpoint so don't expect good performance with high quality if you have a mid or low end computer

Is awesome to have 3d trees on such a beatiful track, but somehow (for me) it kills the aesthetic. Maybe if some of the 2d trees were in the back will be better but i dont know.

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for your work on the Nordschleife track mod for Assetto Corsa. It's an incredible addition to the game, and I thoroughly enjoy racing on this iconic track.

However, I'd like to provide some constructive feedback regarding the 3D trees used in the mod. While the overall experience is fantastic, I've noticed a few issues with the trees that could be improved to enhance the realism and immersion of the track.

Ghostly Appearance: Some of the trees in the mod appear to have a ghostly, translucent quality, which can be somewhat distracting when racing. It would be great if these trees could be made more solid and visually consistent with the rest of the environment.

Reflections in Rain: During rainy conditions, the trees seem to reflect an unusually strong white light. This creates an unnatural effect that breaks the immersion. Adjusting the reflection properties of the trees to make them appear more in line with their surroundings in wet weather would be a welcome improvement.

Sharp Edges on Leaves: Additionally, I've noticed that the leaves on the trees have sharp and edgy edges, which can look unnatural when compared to the otherwise detailed graphics of the mod. if you turn on taa its fixing it but its taking too much fps so if there is a solution for this without the taa that would be amazing
I understand that modding can be a labor-intensive and time-consuming process, and I want to emphasize that my feedback is meant to be constructive and appreciative of the effort you've already put into the project. Addressing these issues, if possible, would make an already fantastic mod even more enjoyable for players like me who value attention to detail.

I think the "ghostly appearance" is due to the leftover Kunos trees that will sometimes appear transparent with a specific set of options enabled (I think FSR does that mostly), which I am working on removing mostly anyways. I tried a lot of things to fix the tree reflections but at the end of the day it nothing that can be fixed by me but actually Ilja has to do it himself, as it is a deeper issue with reflections/wetness on 3d trees in general, not with the models.

Sharp edges on leaves, you make a good point. I will experiment with blurring the textures to see if it fixes anything.

I have been working On and OFF on an update anyways, removing more Kunos 2d trees, fixing placements to look more like original, resizing etc.

So I till try to address these points where I can. Thanks for the review!

This is insannnne! By far the best trees ive ever seen on any track. As a visuals nut i neeed this at other tracks too, ESPECIALLY spa. im hoping that's the next track you do, and please make it 2022 version compatible. maybe monza or le mans fm7 after that. hell this could even be on patreon.

This is absolutely brilliant! Thanks for putting in the hours for us all. With CSP, the Nordschleife looks stunning but the trees were hampering the immersion. Now we have some really nice looking forests. In combination with the AO Patches & 3D grass, this track got some new life!

The seasons work, autumn and winter, but last a short time, a few days at most.
There's too little snow on the trees but I'm sure you'll improve that further!

Can I ask please will this run with CSP v1.79, or only v1.80. What is the minimum version of CSP needed. I only ask because latest version v1.80 has caused a lot of issues and seems to have a lot of bugs and glitches. I lost brake glow from all cars, for example.

Should work with 1.79 yes, you can downgrade and it should be fine.

Dude this project is absolutely amazing!
The frequency of your updates is also mindblowing, keep it going and this will be perfect!

I hope after this is finished in the future maybe this update could come to the vintage nordschleife or other amazing tracks!

The only thing where a solution has to be found for the future are season changes with winter trees and autumn trees etc.

But first finalise one perfect look, then the season!

Thanks for this, it makes the track so much more lifely!

A video comparison would be great so people could see how much immersion it adds!

Woaw, just a problem with some trees that clip in the border, but my fps are fine and my track is beautiful, thanks for this ressource !

hey, first of all thanks for your hard work to make the best track on the world even more realistic. from my point of view an even less tree version would be nice (1000-1500) because due to the fact that all 3d trees looks the same i find that with such a lot same trees you destroy the variation the Nordschleife has in real life. if you would just place some 3d trees on different spots i would look better and more realistic.

Yeah I am working on a updated version that will have more tree variations, as well as no 2d trees. I will include a preset with even less trees then.

Question in the round - does anyone have the orginal files (where warned against overwriting)?
In my excitement I unfortunately overwrote them and did not back them up, which now unfortunately ends in green trees when using the winter landscape skins.
