big Help in Assetto Corsa Competizione

im using an Old DFGT and those tables are really changing the flavour on how the Wheel Behaves and feels on ACC.. thank you!

RasmusP
Thanks for the review! Awesome to hear that the dfgt worlds well with it in ACC! You're the first giving feedback for the dfgt in acc so very good to know! Enjoy the driving :)
After so many hours trying to use my G923 on Asseto Crosa, I have almost uninstalled AC..... until I found this thread... Thank you again and again and again... some werid vibration noise on his center, but not bad, i can finally have FFB on AC with my g923...
RasmusP
RasmusP
Awesome to hear! Thanks for the kind review! :)
To lower the vibrations in the center: Open the .lut you use right now and lower the right side value in the first line. It's "ffb random noise" to make the absolute center less empty. When not driving, it causes vibrations.
Wow, man, this is crazy.
It's like I went from the G27 to another high-end steering wheel.
Now I can see what went wrong with the car settings in ACC.
I'm 0.7 faster on average.
It deserves more than five stars.

Thanks for the nice review! Made my day :) Very happy to read this! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the support thread of the download!
Great LUT :) Changed my G27 feeling alot, Under the updates tab on this page i see you added this in september 2017 after this post was made

''To feel what the G27 is capable off: activate the centering spring to 150%. AC doesn't reach this level of force in my opinion! So I knew there was some headroom left for perfection! ''

My question ^ do we do this or just leave it, and what LUT is this for

Thanks for the stars! :)
The quote was to see what would be the maximum force the wheel can output. And I felt the clipping meter of AC cuts off a bit lower. So boosting the FFB level a bit higher after the clipping meter via the "recommended" LUT gives a stronger ffb into your hands.

But please disable the centering spring after testing this!! It's only for non-ffb games. Or to check the max force without running a game!
Made my game so much better and cruising a lot more fun. Thank you so much!
RasmusP
RasmusP
Thanks for the review! The original ffb min force isn't too bad for "competitive racing" but for the immersion while cruising, my config is a lot more fun indeed :)
Game changer with the G29-- high recommend the suggested LUT (the one used with 50% gain). 5 stars for the dev too, he is still super active in the discussion board helping others troubleshoot

Thanks for the kind words! Enjoy the new feel :)
Something you might want to add to your guide for G29 and G920 users is that Windows sometimes installs the xbox drivers instead of LGS.

Go to device manager and uninstall device on both the G920 and the G920 (HID). Mark the checkbox to remove the driver if shown.

Unplug the device from the system.

Then Go into 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid'

right click 'LGJoyHid.inf' and select install

do the same for 'C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Drivers\LGJoyHid\WinUSB\LGJoyWinUsb.inf'

And plug in the device again

This makes the wheel SOOOOOO much better!! This and your LUT = PERFECTION

Oh wow I didn't know about this, thanks! Weird stuff... I'll add this to the main page!
Thanks for the stars and the kind words too!
It makes me get the best out of my old Logitech DFGT. 'Nuff said.

Thanks for the review! Enjoy the driving!
Lordy! this has transformed my G29,I went back to my original LUT just now and it feels like a limp lettuce in comparison.Cheers Rasmus, great work :)
RasmusP
RasmusP
Thanks for the review man! May your G29 serve you long and well :)
Thank you very much for the lut setting...i have used it on my brand new g29 and it was awesome compared to the standard lut generator settings...currently on the 'recommended'...but i just want to know if is it okay to use ffbclip app with ur lut setting?
RasmusP
RasmusP
Thanks for your review! We answered your questions in the support thread but for everyone: It's ok to use ffbclip, but I wouldn't recommend using it.
I think this file changed my life. Well okay, maybe not. But ACC was my least favorite GT3 sim until I installed it. Now I'm having a blast as I can actually feel the relevant information about what the car is doing unlike the random shaking of the wheel in the default. I run the gain a lot lower than suggested, fwiw--so you still have to adjust the sliders to your taste.
RasmusP
RasmusP
Haha that intro :D awesome to hear! Can you post me the exact wheel, which LUT file and your acc settings in the thread? Always interesting to hear what feels best for others as I could never test ACC with my LUT and my G27...
I used the DFGT version for my logitech driving force pro, I feel so realistic on my ffb now. Its so good ! i hope your life will last for 3000 yrs. thanks!
RasmusP
RasmusP
Great to hear! Thanks for the review!! The DF pro should have the same ffb motor as the DFGT. Thanks for confirming that it works great! :)
3000 years.. ouff haha. You can 1500 of them :D
It really helped me ! ( I have a g29 )

RasmusP
Thanks for posting, happy to help! :)
I can suddenly drive! Instead of guessing what the grip situation of my car is, I can now actually feel it. It's the difference between getting frustrated and having fun (this guide + LUT gives you the latter obviously). I used a Wheelcheck generated LUT before, but this still makes a big difference. I used a G27 with the recommended settings and LUT, I might try out the others later. Thanks a lot for your effort!

Amazing review, thanks a lot!
The wheelcheck generated LUTs change a lot in the ffb linearity. My LUTs are really just a simple, curved "minimum force" setting. Of course it took weeks to get the curve to be what I wanted to feel but I didn't change the ffb at all. No magic, just a smoother min force and that's it.
Wish developers would implement a curve-tool for minimum forced so stuff like my LUTs wouldn't be necessary :)
Please, help me. I've followed the guide and everything worked perfectly, my g27 became a totally different wheel with very good ffb. But, after that assetto corsa gave me a "version mismatch" error and sort of a reset, my "ff_postprocess" file in Documents/AssettoCorsa/cfg continues to reset every time I start the game. I modify the file as written in the guide, I save, and it remain that way any time until I start the game. After I have started it, it changes back to standard and in fact the ffb is really bad. Can you help me sorting this out? I'm going crazy. "ff_process" in Drive/SteamLibrary/Common/AssettoCorsa/cfg is setted proparly and doesn't change, but it looks like this is ignored while the one in Documents is resetted continusly and used.

Thanks for the Stars! :)
For the issue please read the quote in the support thread but a short answer here: There is no obvious explanation but I had the same problem when using content manager. Do you use it or do you use the standard launcher?
Amazing upgrade to my G27 FFB! This has absolutely transformed AC for me. Let the hot lapping begin!!
RasmusP
RasmusP
Thank you! Replies like this motivate me to keep up doing such things :)
Thank you for everything that you do! This is an amazing resource and guide. Well done
I haven't been playing AC for more than 2 years just because oscillations were driving me nuts. Now it's playable again! Awesome work man, thanks a lot!
RasmusP
RasmusP
Thanks for taking the effort to write a review! Great to hear that you can enjoy AC again! :)
Excellent LUT file, really freshened up my dfgt & now my g25!

Quick question with the "recommended lut" tho. In CM settings, the gain should be 50%, but should it also be 50% in car or can we increase the gain in-car as long as content manager settings remain 50% gain?
RasmusP
RasmusP
50% cm gain, 80-120% car gain. Dial it in until the center feels perfect!
Thanks for the review :)
