The best. At Mugello it's intimidating.
Sorry, but the exterior sounds are very low quality when driven in chase cam and sound worse than the previous ones.

That is because the exterior sounds are intended to be heard from the track cameras. Not the chase cam. Nevertheless I will keep looking for better samples to improve them. I can only use what mics record and when the car is close it is too loud for the mic and the sound clips and gets distorted, causing the quality to drop.

At 5:14 you can see what I mean about the clipping and distortion due to the mic not being able to handle the loudness of the car
WHAT A SOUND!!!
Impressive!
Insane!! love it!
Aboslutely fantastic!
Possibly the best sound mod I've ever heard for AC.
Loved it so much that I made a video about it! - https://youtu.be/bgfHD1sYIIM

Can't wait to see it progress even further <3

hi! I actually just saw your video just after releasing v0.2. i'm glad you like it :)
One of the best sound mods on AC.
Just stunning!
Wow mate simply wow... Finally a Porsche that sounds perfect (yes perfect !). This in VR is easily the most immerive experience I ever had on a computer. One can feel the countless hours you spent listening to the real one and tweaking your sounds.
Any plans to make the 2016 car on the URD base ? or a the GT3R / cup cars ?
Keep up the great work and what a talent you have !

Thanks for the great comment and enthusiasm! Next plan (after I finish uni) is V1.1 to address some minor niggles. Then it's a choice between the GT3 R and the Audi R8 LMS 2017 :)
Nice sound but I don't understand why the dash cam sound is different than the interior one? They are both "inside car" cameras and should have the same sound
Thank you

It is the way I implemented the onboard camera sounds. Sadly it affects the dash cam too view too.
It just keeps getting better! Some feedback: I think that the first person (kinda helmet but there is no helmet) cam (The one you can see your in car steering wheel)'s sound can be a little sharper. Currently it feels that there is a thin sound abortion material between the engine and the mic.

My opinion is based on the Marshalls Pruett's Podcast, in which he presented an hour-long very high quality in car sound recording. See the links below:
https://marshallpruett.podbean.com/e/mp-220-porsche-911-rsr-in-car-audio/

Another one:

Hope these helps. I would greatly appreciate it if you can let me know what you think about the recordings.

Hi there, thanks for the feedback. Indeed I used the first link you sent for the samples of this car. And you may be right about the thin absorption material.

As for the second recording, then I have heard it too but decided not to use it since the mic was placed nearer the exhaust, whereas in the first recoding it was placed in the cockpit.
It most certainly made the 911 RSR enjoyable.
fantastic
If Carlsberg made sound mods
Amazing sound mod!!
Weird buzzing noise at low revs on new exhaust.

It happens on the real car too on both exhausts, see the support thread :)

its up to you, all preview vids are available
v.2 version internal sounds are almost perfect for me.
however the externals are quite dull, comparing to Fonseckers (no offence, you did a great job though!:)) i believe the externals will continue improve? please go on - this is the second gt car i love after m3gt2 so really glad someone makes a sound for it too!

none taken

fonsecker is a legend, who inspired me to make my own mods :)
I'm not entirely happy how the externals turned out. they'll be updated in the next update hopefully
Super awesome sound! Thank you very much for that.
But eng sound is wayy to loud.
the result is, that you dont hear tire sounds and the feedback for the car is missing.
And the rsr as an opponent is twice as loud as the rest.
please fix :)
