Some good elements here like a bit more realistic level of grip (rear slides a bit more, front goes faster under high angles), but the throttle and braking rate is way too low. Every time you get off the throttle you have to wait until it slowly reaches back to 100%. It does help control oversteer but you lose a LOT of time. The same with the brakes. It takes ages for them to reach 100% which means you have to brake much earlier which means you lose even more time.
Also this mod seems to have TC permanently ON. Every time your rear wheel spins it cuts off the throttle, even with just a little spin and low angle, and guess what...you lose even more time. Same track, same bike, same conditions,same setup...5 seconds slower.

If your aim is being FAST this mod doesn't not suit your taste. This is all about realism. I spent so many hours collecting real motogp data to make this as close as I could to a bike-sim. Real inertia values, slip angles and a new tyre model are also a big part of my research.
You can dislike what I did at first glance, but with more time on it you'll end up loving the depth of this new simulation and appreciate all the improvements over the vanilla physics.
Can you tell me what important file of data.mix content which not allowed to be replaced by other mod? I have to try mixing this mod with 2018 biker mod, but I don't know which file to choose to keep or replace for data.mix content
Hey first of all very good mod i´ve got a great fun driving with it but I have two little cons. The first is that the AI is running very wide in some corners this makes troubles for the race flow.
The second con is the "fake TCS" Im driving without TCS but if my rear wheel is spinning it takes away the throttle like the middle TCS of the stock game.
Hope you can improve these things a little bit.

Btw, is data folder inside steam path is empty by default ?

It's just because your game isn't updated. Download an older version. 1.4.1 works for you.

Just overwrite the DATA into your motogp 17 folder into the Steam path...

Because i have seen in DB_idealtrackstimes.dml, but i not understand how work the mod.
In game if i set DifficultyConf 4 (realistic) in pratice the ia make too hight times compared to real MotoGp time.

Be sure to have the latest game update through Steam.
If you can't (you know what I mean ), download the mod version 1.4.1, that one works.
Top quality and a well executed mod. Transforms Milestone's standard "arcade" style game into something much more challenging and enjoyable.

I think it's a great idea bbut unfortunately after copying and overwriting files in my MotoGP folder, game crashes when I go on track. Menus are ok. On track in career mode it crashes

Very good mod in terms of physics. Still has more to be completed though. In my manager mode in Moto3, from the German GP onward, the AI began being far less competitive in qualifying sessions. I started to out-qualify everyone by about 1.5 - 2 seconds ever since the German GP I think. I'm at the Misano round now and it feels like it's giving me way too much of an unfair advantage, when I'm only riding a Peugeot and getting pole for the last 4 races. I look forward to more updates that correct out the little faults and problems here and there in this mod. It'll be a must have mod once all that gets worked out.

I agree on your review. The AI has a long way to go to be competitive. As you can imagine 3 categories in 18 different tracks with 2 weather conditions = 108 different scenarios to balance. I'm doing my best.

nearly perfect mod! but the ai is little too slow on the race, but very competitive in qp, hope that u can improve a bit ai laptime in racepace. grazzie mate, great mod anyway!
