F1 2014 complete graphics overhaul 1.2

Hi, now it´s all done

This is my last update for a few weeks or month.

It´s a big update with a complete overhaul for bahrain with texture changes and a lot more real showing lighting. I changed the grasscolour and the stripecolours on USA Texas Track. The sunny weather of silverstone looks more like english sunny weather.

All tracks have a lot of lighting changes and corrections. The shadows are more dark and the tarmac is crisp with original texttures. I changed the rainbead visoreffect. They are no artifacts and it feels more real in rain races. The sky for rain races is now darker. The puddles and all of the rain things is reworked.

I have changed the gamma correction slider for better changing. You can change the gamma on 0.8 to 1.0 in 0.025 steps. I think on the most monitors the game look a lot different. Now you can change the gamma how it looks on my screens.

Some major changes are the higher specular highlights and reflections on treads and tyres of the car and the lensflares. I think the effect looks more real as in 2015. You can use the very nice looking pirelli mod or the default tyres. I changed the reflections of the cars and the refractions. The vanilla cars are looking more real now. You can use my car material changes for all car mods.

I created a lot better postprocessing with more dynamic light, better looking sunbeams, trackreflections and agood lensflare effect.

Special thanxs goes to igearzone 16 that I can use features of his mods. I´m using a lot of lighting things that the light looks more real. When he gives the Go we will work together on revision 3 of F1 2016 Sim. I can use all.

And Robert Kezer that I can use the original sponsortextures for my modded tracks.

Here are all the new features:
- better gamma correction
- tracklight changes for all tracks (darker shadows)
- minor changes on austria, monaco, Hockenheim and singapore
- complete overhaul for bahrain
- texturechanges for tarmac, grass and pitbuilding for texas USA
- new better looking rainbeads on visor without artifacts
- darker sky for rain races
- more real looking rainspray
- more particles
- new car reflections
- more real looking puddles and reflections in rain
- new postprocessing with more dynamic lighting, lensflares, track reflections, refractions breaking light effects and crisper looking textures
- reworked more natural looking treetextures for a bunch of tracks
- windeffect changes for trees
- very crisp looking tarmac for all tracks
- sky haze effects for sunny tracks
- sky changes for silverstone, Spa Francorchamps, Montreal (More cloudy)
- new sky for austria and texas
- more highlighted treads and tyres like other modern car games and f1 2010
- Cockpit Lensflares
- Blinding sun

No changes in detail and drawing distance

Changes in Installation:

optional versions for postprocessing effects. Copy the files of the optional postprocessing folders in your postprocessing folder of F1 2014 and overwrite the files.

This are the folders from where you can copy the files:

- postprocess more real sunlight without lens effects
- postprocess version 1.1
- postprocess default vanilla

When you want use the IGearzone 16 lighting you must use the files in the special mod folder for IGearzone 16.

At the end of the post is an instruction how you can use I Gearzone 16 F1 2016 Sim Mod with my lighting and trackdetail. The detail is alot higher with IGearzone 16 Mod. I hope he place my high trackdetail setting in his Revisioin 3. It looks absoloutely gorgeous. You have never seenso high trackdetails on this famous tracks. Facking amazing. PCars and F1 2015 looks old.

, ok it´s a bit too late but all is fixed now. Sleepless night again. :geek:

This is the releaseversion all is fixed now. The version with more sunglare is no more. The old default version is now the sunglare version. The other version was crap.

The new default version looks clearer and the sunbeams are a little bit lower, because you have now good sun reflections in cockpit and lower lens flares for IGearzone 16 Version. I have edited the car materials for a realer look. But please use for carlod ai and track ai and cams the Igearzone 16 mod it looks incredible with all that stuff. It feels more real and more like a sim.

I have made darker cloud textures for rain races. All looks darker now. The rainbead bug is fixed. The rain reflections and puddles looking more real now.

Fore some tracks you have now shaking leaves. But it looks not so good. It can be better, but shows better as vanilla.
When you use IGearzone 16 F1 Sim you don´t need this feature. I haven´t put this in the special trackfolder

You can use my two mods for the tracks monaco and singapore. Install the tracks before you install this mod overwrite the old files from the tracks with this files. I have improved the lighting. Good textureimprovement for both tracks.

Install Instructions:

Unzip the Rar Archiv and make a backup from your original files. You can copy the files tracks, frontend, effects, cars and postprocess in your main gamefolder of F1 2014 than you have the default version that i prefer.
Default Steam: This can may vary.
C:\program files\Steam\SteamApps\common\F1 2014

When you will mix an optional version you have this options

Don´t copy the effects folder and overwrite the effects folder of F1 Sim 2016. (This is notwrite in the install instructions of the upload)

Ok folks here is an instruction how to use my lighting with F1 2016 Sim from I Gearzone 16. The detail is much higher with the Gearzone 16 mod. Copy all from part two from IGearzone 16 without the trackfolder in your main game directory. Then copy all without the trackfolder from part 1 in your main directory. Now you can copy all of my mod in the gamefolder. Copy the basewind 2 files from I Gearzone in all tracks. Copy the groundcover from I Gearzone 16 Mod in all tracks.Copy the Camsettings out of I Gearzone 16 Mod in this folder for all tracks. F1 2014\tracks\circuits\than the trackname melbourne, canada, austria, monaco etc (Did you know what i mean?)\route_0

Now you can start and you will see the highest drawing distance and highest detail in any cargame on your screen. No Popins. It is the best Formula 1 Experience that you can have. I´m sure. F1 2015 looks like crap. It´s the wow effect. absolutely stuning.

open the folder with the same am and look for the files cars and tracks copy this files in the main gamefolder.

Other options:

-less effect good for driving
-postprocess warm brown
-more sunglare=old default version
-default vanilla postprocessing

optional frontend versions

-V2 frontend darker
-V3 more sunglare
- frontend vanilla lighting

I have put the vanilla versions in the same folders.
