LMP GUI
LMP GUI is Python application for Assetto Corsa displaying all essential information for LMP drivers in one place (it works with other cars as well). My inspiration was HUD I have seen on Youtube videos of iRacing 24 Hours of Le Mans. To be honest I don't know if is it mod or default HUD, because I have never played iRacing. Not all features coincide, and both applications significantly differ, but layout is similar.

Important note: You can turn on app settings by clicking on it once. To turn them off just click it once again. Settings allow you to change size, speed unit and turn on/off wheels' slip/lock indicators.

Installation
To install LMP GUI properly:
  1. Download latest version from link below.
  2. Go to Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa.
  3. Copy here whole content of LMP GUI folder.
  4. If necessary, confirm overwriting existing files.
After installation you might have to enable application in Assetto Corsa settings. In order to do so:
  1. Start Assetto Corsa.
  2. Go to Main Menu > Options > General > UI Modules.
  3. Make sure that LmpGUI is selected.
If you are using Content Manager:
  1. Start Content Manager.
  2. Go to Settings > Assetto Corsa > APPS.
  3. Make sure Enable Python apps option is enabled.
  4. Make sure Lmp GUI is selected in the Activated Apps section.
To enable LMP GUI in game:
  1. Start Assetto Corsa.
  2. Start a new session.
  3. Hover over the right edge of the screen.
  4. On the list find and select LmpGUI.

  • tyres slip and lock indicators (can be enabled/disabled by user)
  • current laptime
  • current lap delta
  • ERS/KERS charge and deploy
  • DRS (yellow light - available, blue light - activated)
  • traction control (ON/OFF)
  • current brake bias
  • ABS (ON/OFF)
  • current gear
  • fuel status
  • estimated laps left with given amount of fuel
  • customizable size (click once to show/hide scale spinner)
  • speed unit switch

app is nice but i found a little bug. Game crash with app if wheel indicators are on. I can start them in game and all work fine but i need to check them off before i leave game or it will crash next time.

It is really useful and I like it a lot but for some reason when I try to use it with the toyota ts040 the game crashes, doesn't happen with the r18 and 919

Exactly what I was looking for. I hide the wheel when I drive and this gets back the generic digital readout most wheels in game have.

One note (and this just might be me and my content manager version - newest preview build), but 1.7 crashes my game. I tried 1.6 and that works just fine. Just a heads up.

Thank you :) It is strange, because a few users had issues with 1.6, and 1.7 works well for them. I will try to figure it out.

This version doesn't work for some reason. Even after deleting settings folder.

I am aware of the fact, that some users experience problems with the latest version. I am currently working on fixing this bug. Please use version 1.4 until I manage to find the cause.

Anytime i try and launch the app ingame it ends up crashing my game, not sure what could be causing it but i think it may be clashing with other apps i am using. ive been looking for something like this for ages so its a shame that it doesnt work for me.

I am sorry to hear that. Seems like crashing is caused by the latest update. I promise I will try to fix it, but for now please use version 1.4.

I am really sorry to hear that, but I don't really think it is possible, that my app caused crashing the game. It seems like an unfortunate coincidence.

Thank you :) there already is possibility of resizing app. You have to click on it once and scale spinner will show below lower edge of app. You can hide it by clicking once again. Chosen size will be saved and loaded next time you use LMP GUI, so there is no need to resize it all over again.

idk how I couldn't give this 5/5 stars. mate, this is amazing. I love it so much and I'm very glad i found this. as a suggestion, I think it would be better to have the TC/ABS be the level numbers instead of ON/OFF like TC 6 or ABS 2. keep up the great work man.

Thank you very much! To be honest I really wanted to have level numbers of TC and ABS, but unfortunately Assetto Corsa game engine does not provide such information and ON/OFF was all I could get. But I will keep trying.

Immediately downloaded. I love to drive LMP1 cars but I don't enjoy driving them from cockpit cam so I drive from dash cam instead. That leaves me needing a HUD app to see gears, brake bias, etc. The iRacing HUD is very simple but nice to look at and informative. Thanks for making this! I see myself enjoying the prototypes more now in the future.

Please if you can make some app like, available in some cars like c7R, 911 rsr on dashboard to indicate when tyres are slipping if possible when brake lockups too. very simply one or two color[tyre slipping blue, if brake lock up available like red] some with few led lights for all cars in ac. Very much appreciated. Thanks
