Update 2.0:
The modlist is now at GDrive and will be expanded there constantly. (ModList is Work in Progress -> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VF5oAWE7axUZPQopt-WJl3QItpeveAwK7-7EWzuaEpU/edit?usp=sharing) With the new update comes even more motorsport history. There are now the Australian V8 Cars in different years and also Formula 1 will now be represented with even more years. The DTM is also represented with several years just like the 24h of Le Mans. Also the sports car world championship is now even more represented.
This project is created because the original career mode has not made me so much fun and through the function of the content manager it was possible for me to create a career, as I imagine it. You start with karts, later GT4 and GT3, Nascar cars and eventually the Formula 1 cars of the current season. The main events are marked with a single number, for example #1, #2, #3 and so on. Side events are marked with #x.1, #x.2, #x.3 and so on. For each event there is always a small hint, which can be called via the thumpnail. Through the costum championship it is possible to adapt every single event to your own needs or to your own mods. Some race series are more detailed than others. The Formula 1 seasons are created as good as possible with the right tracks at the right time and the data is taken from the race calendars. The skins and driver names provide a better immersion. However, many series are modified and adapted to my mods. Most mods are available for free, here on racedepartment or via the AC google sheets. I also have a few paid mods such as the RSS vehicles, but these can also be replaced. The career is not perfect and is more as a framework to see, for me it worked well and also some friends were very taken therefore also the publication, whether I develop all this further I do not know yet because I could not test everything myself until now. In some races the AI does not work properly what I find but not so disturbing, fun I had anyway, should serious bugs occur please report and I look if you can fix. The content manager makes it easy to fix them yourself.
It is my first work in this kind and maybe one or the other will like it. My English is not very good, so I apologize for that. The basic story is as follows.
In the story you play the main role yourself and immortalize yourself in the history books of motorsports.
Your father takes you to a karting track and gives you a time which you beat at the end of the day and you are allowed to participate in your first karting championship. Then maybe later you sit in GT cars. You write your own career and choose freely what you want to drive and where your strengths lie. Write your own story.
At the moment there are 390 championships in total.
