Gives an excellent FOV and lets me use my head tracker. Other FOV hacks have precluded the use of head tracking. Thank you very much for putting this together.

I have a question:
Is it possible to edit those cams to shift the driving view down since i would really like to set the horizon to my eyes level to get the perfect immersion like I'm able to do at iracing?
Would be Yaw Y or something like that i guess.

BTW thanks for this insanely good mod. I can not play the game without it, never could :)

Yes, I know some players like the lower cams and others like the higher cams. So, I spent much time to decide the height of each cam.
Unfortunately, DiRT Rally does not have "Seat Adjustment" or "Free Cam" features like some other Sims atm. But you can edit the "cameras.xml" files with "BinXML" tool.
It is a very simple tool, and you can understand how to use it soon, I think. If there is any further information you may need, please ask on the "Support" forum of this mod.

Fantastic Improvement. Really like them ahundred times better. But the Close Cockpit View could be a bit closer even for my taste.^^

Other authors already released very nice Closer Cockpit Cameras, so I edited my favorite cameras with the middle seat position. :)
Regarding "Lancia Stratos" in my preview video, I could not move the seat forward because of the bar left above. But for other cars, it could be possible to move the cameras closer by editing the FOV range. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I'll try it. :)

Excellent rating for excellent work! Especially with this 4.0 update it is just what I am looking for with obvious care in design/execution. I appreciate the great documentation and previews/references included in the package, too.

As I wrote in the Readme, all thanks to the efforts of the dev and the community that made this possible.
I had to change an essential parameter to fix a graphical issue and made some changes to the package. I'll release the update soon. And any suggestion or feedback would be really appreciated.

You can change the FOV of the Bonnet/Hood camera in "Main Menu - Profile - Game Preferences" menu, or during the event, in "(Paused) - Options - Preferences" menu.
I think you can find "Camera Field of View" (FOV Slider) in "Preferences" menu. And you can change the FOV of all cameras (except Chase-Cams) with it.
Also, you can move forward "Cockpit-Cam" or "Dash-Cam" to the outside of the cockpit (windshield) and use it as Bonnet/Hood camera. Please refer to "Preview 01 - Camera Control - Range.png" in the archive. You can adjust the Bonnet/Hood camera to your favorite position.

Seat Adjustment ranges are set as relative values, and I had to input all parameters into Excel and re-calculate the values of each camera.
As you mentioned, it was a bit tricky. But I could manage them with that way. :)

I can finally get a locked-to-car-cam (dash cam) in the perfect position. Amazing work. My camera woes are now over!

Thanks for this! Very well done. I dont understand why developers make the hood cam center... Its an old relic that keeps being made. Hood cams should be on the side where the steering wheel is because some people like to use it as a realistic extension of their wheel/pedal setup. Like when you have button boxes and screens for dash info etc.

The Driver's Side Hood Cam is useful to practice the new track (SS) with a wheel, and I always edit and use it. :)
Yes, I agree. It does not matter so much when playing with a gamepad. But when playing with a wheel in front of the monitor, the Center Hood Cam feels a bit strange. Of course, many people like the Center Hood Cam, and it has many advantages. So, I added another option so that everyone can choose the hood cam which he/she likes. And if Codemasters will add some more options for us, it would be nice, I think too.
