This update is meant to fix the false trojan detections and also some other bad and missing textures (fixed the normals on some curbs and made the sausage curbs yellow, as they should have been for 2 version now).

Well as big as it can get, it's just curbs after all. Still, something that I thought would be impossible (with it working online and all) was just made possible by me getting gut at CSP stuff (not really).

Thanks to user TheBigHase I started doing more research into CSP extensions and that enables me to do even more elaborate skins.

For now I can say for certain that I'll do at least 3 things: Improve the GP skin by not making the entry curb at Veedol chicane green,

port all the changes done to the GP circuit to the 24H layout and do what I wanted to do for a long time with this skin:

instead of 3 curbstones being painted red and 3 white (as it was before 2017-ish), now there will be 6 red and 6 white, isn't that exciting?
There's no need to download the update if you don't want to, just copy this in the ext_config.ini file located in ...\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\ks_nurburgring\skins\cm_skins\Better Curbs.

Unfortunately I couldn't get these changes on the 24H layout, so it's only the GP section that has these changes.
  • Small changes to textures and colors
  • Changed the dirty curb textures so they don't look appalling anymore

  • Added some wear to Nords curbs + a bit of grass on the edge to break the dull, less organic look of the mesh (looks pretty good with default grass and also works very well with the Rich Summer skins and Green Winter)

This might look a bit odd when there's more curbing outside, but I consider it a good trade

  • Made this curb (and the one after the second carousel) and the one before YouTube corner cleaner

  • Removed the "Vanilla" skin because nobody cared about it anyway
Small changes to textures and shaders, somehow CM install works now, but I don't recommend it.
  1. Changes to the curbs shaders;
  2. Fixed the green carpet on the GP section, shouldn't be shiny anymore;
  3. Better colors for Nords green carpet;

  4. Removed unrealistic rubber buildup on this curb.
