Hi to all F1 lovers!
My problem with realism in all F1 and racing games is how it's easy to overtake AI by braking later in the corners. Unlucky I've never found a mod that solved this problem so for the first time ever I've made a mod by myself... and it works! Changing the ai_driver_parameter_mappings thanks to Ego file converter got the job done. Try it and it will never be easy again overtake AI at the end of the long straights of Austin or Bahrain, at least you will need to be side by side with the AI cars.
This mod come along with another fix. The AI too fast on rain for me that don't use the traction control. So you will find this in the download.
4 Mods available:
1) AI Brakes Later Mod
2) AI Slower on wet Mod
3) AI Brakes Later + a bit Slower on wet Mod
4) AI Brakes Later + really Slower on wet Mod
Instructions:
Put the file of the mod selected in the "ai" folder on your F1 2012 directory and overwrite. Always remember to backup your file.
Important: If you have some mod that changes ai_vehicle_track this mod could make AI brake far far away and not take the corner. Valencia had a problem also without any mod so I've uploaded the Valencia fix.
