The game obviously allows you to select your favorite radio station. Please use this thread to link to your favorite music stations online :)

    Honk!

  5. Open the file live_streams.sii with something like Notepad (the file can be found in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2) and copy this into it, making sure the number at the beginning (37 in this case) is the number next in line (so if there aren't any lines yet, it will be 1 but if there are 45 already it will be 46):

    Code:
    stream_data[37]: “http://7649.live.streamtheworld.com/977_CLASSROCK_SC|<fontface=/font/cp1252/normal.font>Classic Rock</font>”

  6. Thanks J van E, that made the trick. Works like a charm :)

  7. Gave it a try but it doesn't work here either. Seems to be a bad format for ETS2. The link is not really one for streaming audio but it simply leads to the site on which the audio is streamed in another way... I looked around a little but couldn't find another streaming option.

  8. for this radio station to work the streaming address to add is http://icecast7.play.cz:443/oldies128.mp3

so line should be like this in the live_streams.sii
(i called it polish oldies hope i dont offend anybody by this)

    Code:
    stream_data[61]: "http://icecast7.play.cz:443/oldies128.mp3|<font face=/font/cp1252/normal.font>Polish oldies</font> (128k)"
The number after stream_data might be different for you, but you just change this to the next one in your list, hope this helps.

my fave is BBC radio 2 but i cant get it to stream in game

  14. Seems to need an MP3 stream, which is "ripable" and so undesirable by the BBC...
Planet Rock on the other hand...
    http://tx.sharp-stream.com/icecast.php?i=planetrock.mp3
    Code:
     stream_data: "http://tx.sharp-stream.com/icecast.php?i=planetrock.mp3|Planet Rock"
here is a list of stations from the UK, just have to find one that does MP3 stream.

  15. found this in the page source of the web player, that might help...
    Code:
    media/OneRepublic-Secrets.mp3

  16. I tried this but doesn't work
    stream_data[61]: "http://http://media/OneRepublic-Secrets.mp3|<font face=/font/cp1252/normal.font>RADIO 105</font> (128k)"
