PC1 YES!!! Custom livery packs mod now available!!

After much work, a modder active on the pCARS forums has released his Custom Livery Packs mod!
SO!! I'm sure I'm not the only one interested here. ;)
I'd even put myself forward to "manage" the livery pack, so to speak. I could even offer help to those who'd like a livery, but find making one beyond themselves. :)

Here's the link to the thread with the mod:

and here's an example of my very first paint job for pCARS:

Nice! I'm a bit worried about this though:
DISCLAIMER: This mod alters the unpacked game files. Please back up your Project CARS Profile before using. Mod works online, though it is strongly recommended to avoid VAC servers. Author is not responsible for lost save data or broken profiles or bans.

Yes, that is very true. Particularly with how new it is, and the digging and "hacking" that had to be done to get it to work.
It's easy enough to back up your profile tho. ;)
To do things using a skin pack, it would probably be best for everyone to back up their profile before the race, install the skinpack, do the race, then -- if wanted -- revert to the just-made backup (after un-installing the skinpack, of course)
A bit of a PITA, sure .. but I think it'd be worth it
..
At least it doesn't mess up the career mode like his Custom Grids tool is known to do (and apparently can't be fixed due to harcoding, AFAIK)

Nice! I'm a bit worried about this though:
The author here.

It's a standard disclaimer. Both Custom Grid Tool (with a test MP build) and Livery Tool (release version) have been tested online without issue, though only on non-VAC lobbies. The mods don't access memory locations or modify the .exe as is typical of most cheats so I doubt it will cause problems for anyone, but the disclaimer is there because I cannot guarantee it and have no interest in testing the boundaries myself.

Using JSGME makes it pretty straight forward to activate and de-activate, so if you plan on going to play on a VAC server, just make sure you've deactivated everything.

Re: Custom Grid - I'm hopeful that there will be a way eventually to have it not interfere with the career mode. For the record it doesn't really "break" anything, it just prevents you from accessing events on the calendar, as the cars are basically re-classified by the mod.
