That's because lap records are NOT qualifying laps, that's all. But this is the lap records for a series with the rulesets. That is why any lap time set outside of a sports governing body rules is an unofficial lap time and thus unofficial lap record, but is still a lap record. Semantic I know...

meh, poor graphics. There's no shiny reflections everywhere, no long casting razor-sharp shadows, and the sky is too gray.

That speed is surreal. Feels just like your first ride in your first car, after getting the license.

Not impressed, did you see the awful camera shake?
Bland, the colours were all washed out!
Don't even start me on the engine noise, it needs a big boi box on it!

I would love to see a category with these racing a full calendar.

Given the fact that the 919 Evo is a V4 engine paired with an electric motor putting out 1,200 BHP, I think the engine noise is forgivable. Plus the TDI V6 on the R18 sounded like a city bus!
