Weird disconnection issue

hello, ive been having a weird disconnection issue in multiplayer for a while now, where in my screen, every car disappaers and it gives me a message that it is "unable to connect to server". but in the other drivers' screen, im still driving, and since i cant see them but they can see me, i happen to run through them and ruin their races. a lot of my league races has been ruined this way and i need help with this.

ive tried reinstalling assetto, even reinstalling windows, but nothing helped

my connection is decent, although there would be random ping spikes at times

Most likely something going on with your connection. Ive had this issue before but it was very temporary. I would get that message and less than a second later, I was back in the race. Same as you tho, everyone would disappear then reappear. Ping spikes also. For me it was hardware related. -A bad wire coming into the house.

I had to call my ISP and they sent someone out who found the problem.

EDIT: It also took about 5 minutes to load the server list in Assetto.

but for me it doesnt actually load back, i had a race where i disconnected and continued for 30 minutes hoping it would reconnect
