VR for sim-racing, Oculust Rift S or Oculus Link (Quest + cable)?

I was about to purchase the Oculus Rift S, mainly for sim racing, but also for other VR games. Now everybody is talkink about the new Oculus Link, that is, the new ability to connect the Quest headset to the PC. Some say this will make the Rift S obsolete and forsaken. Is this real? Do you have further information? Thanks.

The oculus Quest runs only 70Hrz and it’s more heavy than the Oculus S.

Oculus Quest with Oculus Link is a better solution that Oculus Rift S for Sim racing. Better resolution, better blacks (oled).
Plus you have a better goggle when playing non sim (seated) VR games.
What is there not to like about it?
