Hi all, the guy that got me started in the VR stuff by giving me his old Oculus rift has now upgraded from the G2 he had (and I still have) to the Varjo Aero. Two points here, firstly he does only flight sims, predominantly MSFS 2020, and secondly while we both used to live in Budapest now he lives in Vienna and I'm in Doha. That means we can't get a direct back to back comparison on any of the sims I use, and he also can't lend me the kit to try on my rig to test it myself.
So I'd like to know if anyone has tried it with Asseto Corsa, AMS2, ACC etc and whether there was enough of an improvement to justify the stiff price tag. My rig is an i9 with a 3070 GPU, so while ideally for things like flight sims the 3090 my friend has would be necessary as I understand it (and correct me if I'm wrong) racing sims are not quite as demanding so I think my hardware would work with it
Any thoughts welcome
