Unidentified Sound.

I have this popping mic in the wind sound even with all the volumes at zero.
The only way to turn it down is with the master volume but unfortunately it turns everything else down.
I have been running with master at 1 and everything else at 10 but now I can't set anything. Plus the popping wind sound is still there.
Any ideas?

what track is this?? check for any sound fx files within the track folders

i have the same problem - turn off all of the sounds - engine, road, wind... and just leave the master on.
Start to drive the car, and there is some humming noise like combination of wind and tyre noise...but everything is turned down.

Abulzz's 73 Targa Florio.
But I'm pretty sure it does it on all tracks.
Some cars are not as bad but it even the Kunos cars have this mystery sound.

New computer.
