Trying to understand the effect of steering lock.

My wheel has a fixed 270 degrees of rotation. Now I wonder what the effect of increasing or decreasing the steering lock is.
Am I right that increasing this means that the steering becomes less responsive and decreasing more responsive ?

Generally the higher the lock the twitchier it will feel if your wheel has low rotation. I also have 270 degrees on my wheel - 14 degrees steering lock is the default setting for this. So, start with 14 and then see how it goes; some cars I knock it up a click or two and sometimes down a click or two - generally the open wheelers use lower steering lock. But 14 degrees should definitely be your starting point (which, luckily for you, is the default setting in game)

I use this as a guide. Depending on the circuit block more or less. ;)
