Track Texture Problem - Mirrors

My Coffs Harbour Track is nearing comlpletion but I have a problem I cant seem to resolve.

The track surface is in some places Disappearing in the mirrors only. Then when I pass a certain point it returns to normal, including the area that was invisible.

same problem here. i tried putting a new track shape in there and i don't think it really helped. that is as far as i got into trying to fix it at that point.

I upgraded all related textures to dx5 and made no difference. This one has me stumped.
