track temperature

Hi all. I have just acquired GTR EVO and one thing I noticed is that track temperature is more or less the same (around 27C). However ambient temperature changes a little bit. Is this a bug? I am used to drive in GTR2 and track temperature increases during practice. Do not know if the "live track" technology present in GTR2 is also in GTR EVO.

How live is the track in GTR2? Motec logs of a race (12 laps of WTCC on Cadwell) tell me that ambient temp was between 19.9 and 20.1 degrees Celcius, and track temp was between 26.9 and 27.1 degrees Celcius.

It will always start around there with the default weather. It does fluctuate during the sessions though.

Hi. For instance, yesterday I had in GTR EVO track temp 27 and ambient temp of 36...however track temp always stayed the same, quite below ambient (not realistic). In GTR2 track temp is always above ambient temp, affecting tire wear & grip. I think "variable weather" works better in GTR2...Anyway car handling and FFB is much better in gtr evo!
