Throttle Potentiometer gives reverse reading?

I've been having the problem with my CST Homemade pedals that my potentiometer for the throttle (Vishay Spectrol 357) reads backwards, meaning 3800 to 3000 at fully pressed. The software tweak ,DXtweak and others won't reverse it, and certain games won't calibrate because of this.

So can anyone tell me if I can reverse the reading by switching the wires around that connect to the joystick controller?

I have (+5V) (IN) and (GND), which two of these would I have to switch?
