Yes, they have been released in steam already.
Not a big fan of open wheelers, but it’s a good thing to have these iconic F1 cars.

Steam's downloading them for me right now. Didn't have to resort to the workshop.

Edit: my game launched after the 3 new cars downloaded, but there was workshop content in the download queue, so closing rF2 kicked that extra item into action. There was also a game update earlier this morning (USA west coast) to support the automatic mode without having to exit & come back in. That was in addition to the content we got this afternoon.

I'm amazed. Three historic and officially licensed McLaren F1 cars came to rF2 *free of charge*, and almost no one is talking about it... What the hell is going on? hahah

ye gods the MP4/8 is a piece of work.... even with default set up. A bit too stable ... but that can be fixed.... M23 next. I really love the March and Brabham cars in the last free release, and the M23 should be quite similar, same engine, similar vintage aero, and same box. Not a fan of the modern grooved tyre cars like the MP4/18... but will try it at least.
