I appreciate the kind words Peter. I know my rig may not be as high end as many here, and I don't have the financial means that some people here do, but I'm hopeful that documenting my build could help keep others from being intimidated by the insane rigs on here.

This update is a little less exciting.

I got the rig up on some casters. The feet the rig were originally on were M8. I purchased some casters off of Amazon with a 3/8" stem. I figured I could drill out the holes as it was about a 1mm difference in diameter. I was sadly mistaken. I smoked a few drill bits and barely made any progress. I ended up ordering new plates from Advance Sim Racing. The casters are great. They support my overweight self in addition to the rig and it moves smoothly and easily.

The lesser update is I purchased some gloves:

I like them, but they're not great. They claim to be motorcross gloves, and they're glorified bike gloves. That's fine as I'm only simracing with them. At least they look neat.
