Steering Deadzones...

So my question is, how do you remove them? I have an xbox 360 steering wheel and and 360 controller, and the steering is always messed up... It can never go to 0, it is always positive 100 or negative 100 when I put the stick in the center. So I don't know exactly how to make a deadzone. Can anyone help?

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out... I was figuring that rise sensitivity would the culprit... Was wrong, was linearity.
