SRS Bass Shaker Software - Support Thread

Interesting that you have basic but simplified software/hardware solution(s) coming for immersion for more plug n play usage and budget level tactile.

In browsing the linked instructions however I noticed an issue.

Are you aware the image appears to highlight an AV type amplifier being used for the input connection but why?

Yet it appears to resemble an amps PRE-OUT connections that are being shown. It is even labeled as a 5.1 surround output which you are telling people to connect into.
So this is a rather confusing and poor image to use.

Multichannel Inputs:
Very few AV amps these days sold offer what was called "Multichannel Inputs" as in the "Home Cinema" industry, HDMI killed these off. I do recall Marantz still sold some models that had and also importantly supported 4ohm as again most AV amps these days are 6ohm or 8ohm and do not have analogue multichannel connectivity for 6 or more independent INPUT channels.

So the vast majority of amps people own will be limited to having 2 channel inputs.
Commonly the Red/White RCA type connection.

Clearly you are not using digital multichannel decoding like Dolby or DTS so a person cannot have 6 channel inputs from a single digital optical or HDMI cable neither.

While some amps are available that support 4 channel inputs in a single unit it's even more rare to find some that have 6 and can be bought in various global regions.

The vast majority of people using 4-6 channels with tactile immersion will do so using 2 or 3 stereo amps. Yet the instructions do nothing to highlight these and the current image is not relative or correct.

Its just going to cause confusion....
Maybe best to update the connection instructions as it comes across as a bit unprofessional.
