Problemas com pele

Olá criei uma pele para meu carro
quando importo para pasta do jogo o carro fica com brilho
como se fosse chroma. Já tentei varios programas e até plugins.
por favor preciso de ajuda.

Hello I created a skin for my car
when I import to game folder the car becomes brighter

I was working with 'the GIMP' and my skins were indeed also too shiny.
I read here at RD (can't find it any more) a tread mentioning this:
When you finished your skin, save it (export) as ..psd file.
The open the .psd file with 'paint.net' (NOT 'paint') which you can get for free, and there before exporting to .dds, you can adjust the transparency of the layers (40-60%). You can either first flatten the image to 1 layer in 'paint.net', and then adjust the transparency, or adjust the transparency per layer and afterwards flatten the image, then export to .dds. After your export to .dds, you will see a much less shiny skin.
