single sign on between pd and rd

Hi guys i see your sister website playdepartment it's coded with xenforo too so i found this cool add.on

that allow a single login between two xf forums.I know that's not free,I just report it maybe it could be a nice tool for help pd.

Great idea but I think in practice there are a couple of issues - like for instance if a licensed member here would prefer to use their gamertag as their forum name on PD.

Remember that both RD and PD are Facebook enabled so you can just link your respective PD and RD accounts to your Facebook and voila - all you have to do is click "sign in with Facebook"

I dont know how it works,maybe if it use just the email validation (and you can use 2 different user names)it could be a good idea for the future.

The idea is a very good one and we have looked into it in the past. However there are some issues as Chris described and a few others.

Facebook is however a pretty good way to sign in to forums nowadays as it literally speeds up the registration process from two minutes to a few seconds
