This is easily beatable as i had one flying lap and it was a bit sloppy, i am using PS3 controller so again you wheel uses will smash this time.

Getting 1st in Q2 is no big deal against AI since they really seem to hold back in the rain. Qualifying session was Q1 - Dry, Q2 - Very Wet, Q3 - Dry... In Q1 I qualified only 12th with a 1:38.785. I follow Parc Ferme rules so after P3 I usually don't change anything, still amazed I had relatively good control in the wet. This setting in a Lotus is a bit slippery on the rear end even in the dry. So definitely room for improvement. It actually feels better to drive in full fuel load conditions which surprised me cause I have the ride height pretty low for a track as bumpy as Shanghai. Still have to do the race, so hopefully I don't wear out the front tires way to fast with 1.40 front camber.

  3. two pretty good setups here guys i needed a decent setup for Shanghai in the wet as everytime i race there its raining cheers guys

  4. Career mode, only auto-gear on.
First try with Kevin's setup, did a 1.45.531.
Only adjusted the ride height 5 on both sides.
    Thanks!

  5. I tried both setups and like them a lot. With Kazuis my lotus shudders round corners and fronts out a bit but works well, a scrappy 1.,47. Kevins I seem to run out of power down the straights can go round corners faster but I spin more often, got a scrappy 1.45. I'm a poor driver with all the assists on except brake assist till I get used to the game. using a thrustmaster pad on pc. Thanks both of you.

  6. great thx

  7. Did a 1.43.578 a bit of a messy lap in a lotus

  8. i got a 1.48.666 with kevins
    i got a 1.46.644 with Kazius

I know which one i prefur!

  9. My time is 2:01 in a Lotus.

  10. Quick set-up with the engineer, in this case, the fastest are the first choice on the right, is 1:36.0XX

  11. I got 1:40.397 with lotus first season

  12. Got 1:42:059 with Kazius setup (pole)

  13. 1:41:077 lotus s1 p1 option

  14. I got 1:43:204 first lap out could probably get it to 1:40 with a couple of laps

  15. 1 43.2 with kaz's INTS.

Losing 3 seconds in S2 fast chicane is a pain, could maybe break 1 40 in rain if i knew how to do s2 properly.

  16. Using the bmw/ferrari car 1st season ledgend no assists currently doing 1:40.535 :) good set up

  18. Gearbox MPH conversions for Kazius' setup:

    Gear 1: 88 mph
    Gear 2: 106 mph
    Gear 3: 124 mph
    Gear 4: 145 mph
    Gear 5: 167 mph
    Gear 6: 191 mph
    Gear 7: 218 mph

P.s has anyone noticed adverse weather conditions (namely high winds) means you can reduce downforce for same grip as higher downforce in lower winds?

  19. Just tried Andrews set up as above and got a 1:35.5 in the wet and also beat my time in the dry with pretty much the same set up.
    Works for me.

  20. I did 1.55 with Kazius' dry setup, maybe you need to adjust your camber and right height? ?
