I plan on using Jere's setup for Qual and a slightly modified Reik setup [Hard/ Inters/ Wets tyres] for the race.

I have to ask our setup-masters (I am total noob in setting up the cars) how can I longer life of my wet tyres (if there's rain tonight)? My FrontLeft tyre usage is 4-5% per lap. It means I will have to pit twice at least. But I don't want to!

Although no master, I believe there is little you can do to significantly improve tyre wear. I think it boils down to tyre temps. Maybe it pays off to use intermediates as they will last you longer? I think the weter it is the longer the wet tyres (and inters) will last.

Or to use other words, is it wet enough for wet tyres at your testing venue?

I think that if your tire is wearing that much then it is the wrong tire choice for the conditions.

I was testing Inters and Wets at PrestoGP wet server. I did not even think about using slicks there

That's what happened. I had to do three stints 18-14-16
