Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

R1: blew my engine on the start line.

R2: just could not keep the car on the road

Pole both races.

Race 1 (1600GTA): Couldn't see the lights, got distracted trying to bring up the race timer, stalled, lol... Been a while I raced rFactor, sorry all ! Got back to 2nd making up over 20 seconds, ran out of laps

Race 2 (Cortina): Good start, led all laps and kept it within about .350 all race in the low-mid 50's, except the last lap where I decided to drift like a moron

My first race on RaceDepartment!

Race 1 (1600GTA): Decent qualy, started 4th. I did a great start and went 2nd at start since William "dun goofed" ... Finished 4th!

Race 2 (Cortina): My turn to mess it up. Started 14th and at the first lap I made my way through 6th place. Then I slowly went 3rd then the 4 laps before the end of the race I was racing for 2nd place. I finished 2nd !

This is me between the Levesque brothers in race two:

Great night, great racing!

Started third (or fourth?) in race 1, just behind William. When he stalled i hit the brakes in time but the clutch to late and stalled also. Race was good fun, had some nice little battles while going through the pack and managed to finish fifth.

Started second in race 2, couldn't quite keep up with William so i concentrated on staying in front of Davy which went quite alright until Maxim got into third and started chasing me.
Did my best to stay in front and begged for the finish line which i eventually crossed.
A bit too late though as the younger Mr.Levesque had already passed me by then.

Not the best evening for me. Got a little bump from behind in turn 1 of race 1 which put me off and no one waited. Took a while to get the engine restarted. Tried to drive carefully in both events watching engine health and water/oil temps. They seemed within limits but the engine died in both races after only a few laps.

@Jack Smith i don't get why you blew the engine within a few laps with both cars, i over reved both cars and missed a few gear change with both cars and still i completed both races with over 20% of green engine health. i use rFdynHud and the engine health have 3 stage, the green part which is 100% then the yellow part that goes in the minus % and then the red zone again in the minus, to blow an engine i have to go to -1300% or something like that

I have to admit I'm also feeling a bit gun shy. Not sure if I'm racing or looking after engine's.
