reset to track?

so this maybe a dumb question, or just shows my skills as a driver. but how do you get back on the track. i've yet to make it around spa once. i try to go slow but that's too hard, so i end up hitting something and spin wildly out of control and flip over the fence and into the field where i get stuck and the only was i know how to get out is if i just reset back to pits. is there an easier way to do this?

No. It hasn't been in rF1 and as far as i know it's not available in rF2. Would be a good feature though.
