JOSN submitted a new resource:

Realistic Grip Levels for acu_unitedstates COTA Austin Texas - acu_unitedstates realistic grip level

I changed the grip levels to more realistic values.
Now realistic laptimes can be driven.

This is for the acorsaunderground version acu_unitedstates.

I have tested the mod with different cars and it is now verry close to real life laptimes.
F1 2017 - but i'm still not fast enough for Hamiltons time, but possible

see video below.

Backup your original files in case you don't like it or you want to race online.

Can someone help me to re-compilate an .acd file? i'm working...

assetto_corsa_acd_rebuilder.bms
Easier how to use:
- launch quickbms.exe
- select assetto_corsa_acd_rebuilder.bms
- select the original data.acd file (don't worry, it will be not modified)
(or create an empty one with notepad)
- select the folder where are located all the files (so inside the "data" folder)
- you will receive a success message
- go from Windows in the data folder
- you should see a new sub-folder with the same name of the car
- go in this sub-folder and you will see the file data.acd.rebuilt (for example "c:\path\game\ks_mclaren_p1\data\ks_mclaren_p1\data.acd.rebuilt")
- that's the new file that you can rename and move over the original data.acd

Also a very easy way is to use content manager full version, go to the car in the content menu and press pack data, delete or move original data file and job done.
Unpack again by pressing alt j on the selected car if needed.
