3 turns advanced, Maldonado continues to lead. Kobayashi closed the gap while Petrov maintained the same gap with the leader more or less. Heidfeld, Barrichello and Perez gained some valuable positions. Mercedes fixed their cars at last, and they joined to the race 3 laps behind of the leader. They will go for testing purposes.

Petrov closes the gap. Button overtakes Webber. Alonso overtakes Klien whom Senna-Perez duo are stucked behind of. Heidfeld continues to fly and catches them.

Barrichello flies and gets rid of backmarking group.

Maldonado flies, Petrov flies too but not as fast as the leader. Alonso also boosts his place and closes on Button-Webber duo. Heidfeld's great tempo comes to an end and he blocks Raikkonen who is a lot more faster. Both Renaults made some great progress, espicially Kovalainen who is going crazily. Massa also fires the rocket, just like Sato. Alguersuari keeps his 'tyre-lover' pace. Montoya blocks faster Force Indias.
