Raising Objects

I'm sure I am overlooking something obvious...

I am using the enis objects xpack
I want to put one of the building pieces on top of one of the pit garage piece,
how do I get it to rise off the ground to go on top of the garage???

I think you select it and hold down Y key whilst using the move tool.
