Discussion in 'Formula SimRacing' started by David Dominguez, Oct 6, 2012.

  1. Welcome to the 13th race of the FSR 2012 World Trophy season at Korea! You will find the password for this event by logging on GPCOS and looking at the password field which is next to the server's IP address.

Before proceeding to the event, pay attention to the following:
    • Remember to join the game with the FSR Manager software running, as described in the pre-raceand post-race procedures
    • A pre-qualifying session is organized (see the schedule and listings below)
    • Due to the number of allocated drivers being :inlove:6, Grid 2 race is not organized this time
Following drivers (6) have automatically gained the right to race in Grid 1. The listed drivers are NOT ALLOWED to take part in Pre-Qualifying:
Following drivers have the right to participate in Pre-Qualifying:

    Pre-qualifying Group (29):
Start from back of the grid:
    License Status:

The Pre-Qualifying session will be 10 minutes in length. The session will be run in Private mode without Parc Ferme. The sessions will also be closed, this means that it will impossible for people to join while the session is running. The top 20 from Pre-Qualifying will make it in to Grid 1.

The Free Practice session will be 10 minutes in length. Every participating driver should join as soon as possible after the server opens to make sure that they don't miss the start of Qualifying and also to make sure that their game is configured & working properly.

Qualifying will be split to two sessions (10 + 5 minutes). Both sessions will run in non-private mode (all cars will be visible on track at the same time). Qualifying 1 will be run with free setup while Qualifying 2 has Parc Ferme enforced. Parc Ferme will only allow you to change your fuel load, tire compound, engine boost, engine brakemap, front wing angle, steering lock, brake balance and brake pressure after the session is over, so make sure you have your race setup loaded when entering Qualifying 2. Qualifying 2 session will be closed, this means that it will impossible for people to join while the session is running.

The Warmup session will be 10 minutes in length. You can drive freely in the Warmup session to try to get a feel for the heavier car after qualifying on low fuel.

The Race will be 42 laps long. Drive safely during the race, especially at the start and the first lap in general.

Red Flags will NOT be used unless in very specific situations which are specified in the rule documents.
  2. Might not be able to make it, as i had to reformat my computer.
  3. 1 grid only?
  4. Tume

    The unlucky Finn

Yes, due to less than 36 allocated drivers. If you end up under the G1 cut-off edge, you can't race at all.
  5. SimSync doesnt work!

David there are 39 allocated drivers and only one wont participate (

    Mo Selvarajah
    Driver will not participate
  6. I think its because 5 drivers are down as Driver participation uncertain which drops the number to 33. this also means if you did not allocate then you cant PQ.
Looks like no race for me either, that would be 2 on the trott.
  7. :(

Where is the "post-race checks" topic?
  9. There were some duplicated allocations, a banned guy, and a guy without license. Without them, the total number was 35 allocations.

    WT PQ results:

  10. I will do it in the next days, anyway as far as I know there aren't issues with logs and there weren't any incidents reported.
  11. As always :D First under the line :D
  12. I was on for a 1:42 but messed up. It still wouldn't be quite enough to get into the race.

Gotta keep practicing to try and get into one grid 1 race before the end of the season.
  13. GRID2 will race?
  14. Tume

    The unlucky Finn

    There isn't a Grid 2 race.
  15. What? Are you serious?
Why nobody told us anything about it?
There are f...... useless this admins, i am piss off.
I sit here waiting for the grid2 and now you telling me that they will be no grid2

If you would have payed more attention in reading the race briefing prodecures, you wouldn't have just said that. It clearly reads there in the start of the message: Due to the number of allocated drivers being :inlove:6, Grid 2 race is not organized this time

  17. I suggest you learn to read before trying to argue.

"Due to the number of allocated drivers being :inlove:6, Grid 2 race is not organized this time"

I have nothing to do with FSR however I am still able to read basic information.

  18. learn to be professional.........

After each qualify you have to announce that due to the reason that we dont have lots of drives they will be only grid 1

And this after the qualify but not before

I was out and i got home to be on time for the qualify and wghen i finished i check if i had pass to grid1 , i am not sitting here and checking what everyone had write in the beginning.

    The unlucky Finn

It's your own fault if you can't make it in G1 and not paying attention on the prodecures.

  20. It is always announced BEFORE pre-qualifying whether there is a grid 2 or not. So we all know that we can make plans for the rest of the day if we didn't manage to make it through.
