Race #13, Belgium: Race Briefing

Discussion in 'Formula SimRacing' started by John-Eric Saxén, Aug 21, 2010.

  1. Welcome to the 13th round of FSR 2010 World Series. Before proceeding to the event, notice the following:

Due to the allocation count being less than than 27, no pre-qualifying session is not organized as per article 5.9. Every listed driver below is entitled to proceed immediately to Q1.

Following drivers have automatically gained the right to race in Grid 1:

    Secured Grid 1 place (25):

Start from back of the grid (5):

The Free Practice session will be 10 minutes in length. Every participating driver should join as soon as possible after the server opens to make sure that they don't miss the start of Qualifying and also to make sure that their game is configured & working properly.

The Qualifying session will be 15 minutes in length. It will be run in non-Private mode (all cars will be visible on track at the same time) with Parc Ferme enforced. Parc Ferme will only allow you to change your fuel load, tire compound, engine boost, engine brakemap, front wing angle, steering lock, brake balance and brake pressure after the session is over, so make sure you have your race setup loaded when entering Qualifying. Like Pre-Qualifying, this session will also be closed, this means that it will impossible for people to join while the session is running.

The Warmup session will be 10 minutes in length. While in the garage, make sure you add the appropriate amount of fuel in to your car for the race. Remember, refueling is banned. You can drive freely in the Warmup session to try to get a feel for the heavier car after qualifying on low fuel.

The Race will be 44 laps long. Drive safely during the race, especially at the start and the first lap in general.

Red Flags will NOT be used unless in very specific situations which are specified in the rule documents. In case of light-moderate first lap incidents, a Safety Car may be deployed. The Safety Car period will last 3 laps and there will be no passing during these laps. Keep a safe distance to the car in front, but do not hold up the rest of the pack. The Safety Car will not be used for any incidents which happen after the first lap.

  3. i got a question. since last race was postponed do we set this race up as race 12 or race 13 in our fsr manager?
  4. Race #12, Belgium: Race Briefing
  5. yeah okay thanks but just wanted to make sure... dont want any penalties haha
  6. My mistake with the headline, I prefer round 13 as it's written in the briefing. Hungary (when it's raced) will keep using round 12.
  7. Oh... well ive sent my files as race 12?
  8. i didnt know you changed it... so i hope i dont get a penalty for it..
  9. I put Race 13 in the manager and file submission, cus it obviously said Round 13 at the homepage.
  10. Due to the confusion I will check both folders 12 and 13 this time.
  11. Thanks John, and sorry for the extra work.
  12. Thanks John.
