PSP as telemetry/shift indicator?

I see there is a Japanese MoTeC addon for the PSP for use in real racing, would you think it's possible to have a similar thing for simracing? When the PSP Go comes out, I'll need to do something with the old PSP as it will be near worthless...

Its possible with Live For Speed but you have to download some special software which i cant remember the name for

It would deffinately be possible if you run the homebrew firmware. Its got usb so no reason why not. More difficult part would probably be finding someone with the skills to produce it.
