problem with Windows 2000

hi, i have a server setup with Windows 2000 Server SP4 and when i try to open nkserver.exe i get an error:

nkserver.exe is not a valid win32 application

and it won't start

what do i need to make it work? it says in the requirementes:

a 100% Windows 2000/XP compatible computer system
Microsoft .NET 1.1 Runtime (download and install it from here)

It's possible during the download that the file became corrupted ... it happened to me with other software ... try to download it again ... http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000726.htm

i guess it has something to do with the programming, because at first when i run nkserver.exe it shows a different error, and after the update it just shows the error: nkserver.exe is not a valid win32 application

Can you run other .exe files normally?

you probably know this but just in case you dont ... If you are starting nkserver with nkserver tool you will need the new version http://lastplace-racing.com/index.p.../Miscellaneous/nKServerTool-v1.0.23/Itemid=30

if you are starting nkserver.exe directly and the file is not corrupted then its behind my skills

no, kunos just replied me in drivingitalia, is because of the visual studio 2010, that the updates were written in that version, and it has no support for windows 2000.
