The 997 GT3 Cup is back ! EnduRacers happily unveil a new high quality projet featuring the famous Porsche racing car.

The mod based model was unveiled in early 2010 and was immediately introduced into the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, the Carrera Cups in Germany, Asia, Japan and Italy as well as the GT3 Cup Challenges in the USA and the Middle East. The Team has decided to feature the 5 biggest championships around the world : Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, Porsche Carrera Cup France and Porsche Carrera Cup Italy . Some bonus skins of the other championships will be available in the mod.

Since Enduracers doesn't make any profits off of this mod, it is considered a non-commercial product, and therefore Porsche have a harder (None whatsoever?) case against them if they were to release the mod. If you read among the comments on their facebook page, apparently MAK-Corp was in a similar situation a few years back and won in court.

The way around it is......$£$£$£$£$£$ money and official licenses.
closed community is the other way around, they can't sue anyone if it's hold in a certain group no open to public. Club Rights for example, if you use it as your club software they won't be able to harm you for doing so. You must have a group of atleast 7 form a Club and lock it to the public. If it's widely spread and common you can see it gets to the "interested" and not to the "public".
It's the same as you would form a Football club and keep to constitution. You must have 7 people to be allowed to play, you start with 11 but if you get red cards you're still allowed to play the game aslong as you have 7 people still.
That said exchanging players would still be possible within the exact same group of interested but with the exception that it's not public that was the deal how I interprete it. If those sensive jurists are so eager with their closed social clubs, who prevents us simracers to do the same. It has always been that way in the past still the result wouldn't be drastic except that you must find atleast a group of 6 other interested people you find and form a group with.
Could be even that you must meet EnduRacers rules in order to take part in a closed community. Not as open, bugged and horrifying controlled like FaceBook but still reknown among us.
Then again the interpreting of the rules may be the slip that still sees it public if the MAK-Corp argument is true I disbelieve it tho.
It's all about the money and egos these days.
